A fog of fast and empty language has seeped into the workplace. I say it's time we air it out, making room for simple, concrete words, and, therefore, more deliberate actions. I was ranting earlier today about the misuse of "you're" and "your", as well as "there", "their", and "they're". Those are my biggest pet peeves by far. However, "a lot", "alot", and the occasional "allot" definitely annoy me as well. Nicely done. Cheers.
